PRIZES & SPONSORS
Winners will perform on the main stage at Undiscovered X Online Cultural Festival on October 17th
The winner’s original song will be featured on myxRADIO and music video on myxTV. Previous artists that have been featured on myx include Saweetie, Manila Grey, P-Lo, Guapdad 4000, Ruby Ibarra, beabadobee and more
Winners will receive a career consultation meeting with a Kollective Hustle music industry professional
Winners will participate in a LIVE interview with DJ Marlino on Heavy Rotation, the #1 and only global Filipino Hip Hop and R&B podcast in the world
JUDGING & WINNERS
After submissions end on September 18th, 2020, the UNDSCVRD team will shortlist six (6) entries, whose videos will be uploaded directly to our UNDSCVRD facebook page.
The three (3) entries who get the most likes and shares on the original UNDSCVRD Facebook post by October 4th, 2020 will be the winners of Undiscovered Talent!

+Who is eligible to enter? . . .
Any independent* musician, producer, singer, instrumentalist, you name it! If you think you make great original music, feel free to submit an entry!
In alignment with UNDSCVRD SF’s mission, found here, to jumpstart economic activity in SOMA-Pilipinas in a culturally relevant context, we ask that a main figurehead of your act or entry be of Filipino descent.
**Entrants must not be signed or affiliated with any record label or artist agency.
+How do I enter? . . .
You’ll need to record a video, up to 5 minutes in length, and upload it on your preferred platform (Youtube, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc.).
After uploading your video, head to the UNDSCVRD website and complete the submission form, linked here.
You will be notified and further contacted if you are selected to be a part of the shortlist of winners!
+When do submissions close? . . .
The window for contest submissions will end on Friday, 9/18/2020, 11:59PM PDT
+How many times can I enter? . . .
We will only consider the first form submission per artist or group and discard repeat form submissions, so please complete the first form completely and accurately!
+I submitted an entry for myself, but I am a member of another band. Can I still enter with that band? . .
Yes! You can submit one entry per separate group or entity.
+Does the video have to be of myself? . . .
Yes. If you are submitting the entry, you must appear in the video and own all rights to all parts of the production.
+Does my entry have to have a theme? . . .
No! Feel free to be creative, and blow us away!
+Can I enter with my friends or a band? . . .
Yes! You can collaborate and enter with anyone, as long as it will abide the rules and eligibility requirements listed here.
+Can I do a cover or a remix? . . .
No! All entries must be ORIGINAL compositions, While we’d love to see your takes on established pieces, we would love even more to see your original works!
For Producers: No samples!
+Do I need to live in California to win? . . .
No! Since UNDSCVRD X is going live online, we’re going INTERNATIONAL! However, all business will be operated under timezone agreements listed here.
+How is the winner decided? . . .
The UNDSCVRD X team will review every entry and decide on a shortlist of six (6) entrants. The six (6) entries will then be uploaded to the UNDSCVRD Facebook page , where the winners will be decided by total likes and shares on the original UNDSCVRD facebook post.
+I uploaded my video, is that all? . . .
Not yet! Please head over to the UNDSCVRD website and fill out this form!
You will need the link to your video, an artist bio, and the emails/contact information for all individuals featured in the video.
+How can I make a good entry? . . .
Be true to yourself and your artistry! Effort first, and production quality should always come second (but we admit, a good lookin’ video and crisp clean sound never hurts)!
