THE UNDSCVRD Stories

Katha Collection is a curation of different Philippine-made fashion pieces from makers, artisans, and culture bearers. The brand was founded and established by Kat Lopez-White, who was born and raised in the Philippines, and now resides in the Bay Area. The word "“Katha” translates to “story” or “narrative” in Filipino.

As the spotlight shines on Filipino American History Month (FAHM) 🇵🇭, we are thrilled to showcase a star-studded lineup that will grace the three UNDSCVRD SF stages: 5M Main Stage, Kapwa Gardens Stage, and Executive Order DJ Stage….

At the core of UNDSCVRD is uplifting SOMA Pilipinas through music events and community. We know how important it is to make a place for ourselves and let our presence be known so our stories can be told. Hip Hop has been an undeniable piece of the joy and freedom that carries us through each UNDISCOVERED SF season and so we present to you an interactive map that documents Filipinx/a/o Americans in Bay Area Hip Hop.
